Question about Kidde Nighthawk Combo Gas/co Detector
A kidde KN-COEG-3 nighthawk plug- in carbon monoxide and explosive gas w/battery backup beeps every 30 sec Err if I press peak level button I get E03 it has a new battery and is plugged in
Malfunction signal - Component failure. An intermittent "chirping" alarm will sound every 30 seconds, and an "Err" message will appear on the digital display. The only solution is to discard it entirely and replace with a new gas & carbon monoxide alarm.

Correct. Intermittent beeping is a sign of "component failure". Time for a new one.
