Question about Cameras

Pictures come out blurry

When I look through the lens the picture looks fine , but when I take the picture it is blurry. I have wiped the lens off thoroughly to make sure it was not the lens. The camera is fairly new, bought within the last year

Objects displayed in both the lcd and viewfinder are blurry resulting in blurry pictures...how do I correct this?

Have you cleaned the lens lately? If not you may want to go to a local store and pickup some glass cleaner and a chamois cloth and wipe it.
Is there any cracks in the lens housing? If so there may be dust getting in between the lenses causing the blurriness, and to fix this you may want to take it to a camera technician.

Pictures blurry

Hi Karen,

Had the same thing happen to me. Drove me nut's for a while.

What it turned out to be on mine was a tiny scratch on the lens. I found it with a magnifying glass and bright light. I guess it was in just the right spot to blur the pics.

I was able to get mine replaced where I bought it.

If yours is still under warranty, definitely exchange it.

But if not, look closely at the lens. If it's fine, we keep looking for the problem

Best regards,
Mike

Problem with my Olympus FE-230

When I turn my camera on, the lens goes in and out a few times. Once it's finally on and I look at the screen, everything is blurry. When I take the picture, it's blurry too. If I try to use the zoom to adjust, the lens starts going in and out all crazy and won't adjust right.

Blurry looking through the lens

I was loaned a DX40 just yesterday. I didn't get the Tech. manual, but did get a quickstart guide. I hope this will help, have you adjusted your diopter located on the viewfinder? If you have, then I haven't got a clue.

My Casio EXILIM EX-Z70 Digital Camera turns on and take pictures and everything but the pictures come out blurry. Any way I can fix it ?

Make sure the lens is clean. Exhale on it and wipe carefully with a lens tissue. You also may want to set the "image quality" setting to "High."

Picture Quality

A blue tint would be the color balance in the white balance settings in the menu. Go set the white balance to "Auto" if he pictures are blurry, you could have dirty lens. Take a q tip and wipe it down without and solution to it. Otherwise you could have faced a possible impact damage. Was the camera dropped, bumped, or knocked around. This can be fixed. I recommend sending it to the camera doctor.

He can fix it faster and cheaper than the manufacture. Impact damage is not covered by warrantys.

Blurry pictures

I just checked out the canon website, there is a link there regarding the CCD image sensory advisory. They are aware of the problem of all of a sudden getting a blurry picture and will fix it for free. Just call the toll free number on the site and they will send you a free mailing label and tell you what to do. They said it will take 10 days to fix, buy hey it's free.
