There should be a reset button or a small hole where you can reset, find this button or hole, hold it in for 60 seconds, the router will reset back to defauls

Motorola wr850g. I forgot my password for my router, I've tried to reset, and when I access router from hardwired computer of course it asks me for user ID and password. Please help!

Open your Internet Explorer browser:

In the URL field, enter
http://192.168.10.1 (the router's default IP address) and press the Enter key.

Enter as follows:

User ID: admin
Password: motorola

Once you have logged in, for security reasons you should change the User ID and Password.

How can i find my password for my motorola SBG900 modem

Passcode is on the label on the bottom of the modem. To configure security, default code is "admin" and password is "motorola". If you are trying to log onto the wireless signal, that is the WPA-PSK code also found on the label. There are way too many codes on this router/modem - but it works well once you have it running!

I would like to lock and secure my connection that way im the only one using it. How do i do it please help.

The way to secure your router is to enable Security at one level or another. Log in to your router, open Wireless settings, verify your SSID (Network Name), and choose security other than None. Whatever passcode you set is the code you use on all computers to access your router. If the passcode is not known then wireless access will not be granted. NOTE: Wired access has no passcodes, as you pretty much know who's plugged in to it.

Need to secure wireless connection

1. Connect the computer to your Wireless router then using the internet explorer access the router gui 192.168.1.1abd7975.jpg 2. It is extremely important that you change the password for your router. Select a strong password using numbers and letters. This is the password that you will use to login and configure your router after this initial setup. 61e656e.jpg+

Forgot passcode to unlock messages

You cannot bypass a user set security code.  I would recommend trying to remember the pass code or go to a private cell phone dealer and see if they have the ability to re flash your phone.

IP adress dosent work.

You need to match the security settings on the Wifi router. I do not know what security is set up on your Wifi, so I cannot accurately solve this problem. I have my router set to WEP with a passcode. On the PSP, I tell the network setup that the wifi is WEP and put in a passcode to match the Wifi routers security. If you have the passcode wrong, the IP address part will fail. Just find out the security type and passcode, then set up the PSP's network connection to match.
