Restoring muh computer.

You just need to run the os installer cd and press the repair, the whole setup will run without lossing data on your drive D.

First of all, is the machine running?

If not check the basis:
1. that the cord is working properly, replace it and connect PC.
2. if the PC is receiving electricity, the fan on the back will be moving. If not the Power supply is dead.


If is running and the Operative system is not:
1. the internal battery on the board has to be replace.
2. the hard disk is dead.

We need more information of tha the PC do or don't.

Plz check your ram and try another ram which you know is working.If the problem still persist than let me know with your machine specs.Did you install any new hardware prior to the stop error

Install a new copy of windows if that problem persist again, try to check your RAM. Replace a new one and then run your pc again

I am having the same problem with a T6410, however, the system bluescreens after loading the "restore" disk. I have even tried different windows install discs (that I know work) as well as different hard drives (both SATA and IDE) and the same thing happens. Here is the STOP error: STOP: 0x0000007F (0x0000000D, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I'm at a loss, so any assistance would be appreciated

First como no hay garantia puedes abrir la PC....debes cambiar la pila de la board preferiblemente una Sony o Toshiba de la board para que te guarde la configuracion del setup luego configura la fecha y el inicio de los drives hard disk,boot, etc, sino eres experto hazle autodetect y o lee el manual y restaura lo mas default posible generalmente todo el software esta alli, no vayas a tocar o formatear el disco duro....sino te fegaste y la operacion seria mas compleja.....eso pasa es por baja en la pila de la board....y te funciona como sino tuviera sistema operativo...si quieres escribe a mi mail como sigue: [email protected], si tienes una pregunta mas especifica o necesitas pasos mas faciles.. good luck

If you cannot get it running then you cannot use the restore facility thats probably on a partition of your hard drive. The only way to get going again is if the pc will boot and enable you to set your CD/DVD drive as the first boot device in the bios(Press DEL or F2 at boot up); and start up the system with a Windows Installation CD in your cd drive; and press enter to install or R for repair of the system files.
