JVC's KD-PDR30 flashes 0:00-A on display

My Car Battery recently died and ever since when the display is suppose to display info, like what IPOD song your listening to, it flashes 0:00-A. It will display the time if I change it to display that, and it will tell me if the settings are on IPOD or radio or AUX, but as soon as it should be displaying info on what Ishould be listening to ot starts flashing.

I've just fixed mine. There's a reset "button". Take the face plate off, you'll see a little hole, yes it's a hole. Stick something thin and pointy in it and hold a couple of seconds, I used my earring, a pen tip won't work, I tried. It would reset the whole thing, display should show "1:00". Then you just have to work on your settings, adjust the time, etc. Hope it works for you as it has for me.

Hi, I'm guessing , but I think it's saying it needs a setting intered on that 00:00AM, before it will do info display. Work on geting the clock set right in that mode, and the info should work again.
Let me know what happens, and do you have a clock set Mode, on radio and hit enter in radio? Tell me if you get it, tooldoc

Jvc kdpdr30..

your 8 gig will work. I am assuming that you are talking about the (charging not supported) message that you get with your ipod. If this is so then you can buy an adaptor that will fix this problem. usually costs around $50

The Touch will not work with the KDPDR30. I spoke with JVC and their models that will operate the Touch are KDPDR40, KDAPD49, KDPDR45, KDPDR41 and KDG47 the last two have a cable required.
