It may be too late to find the origin but someone has successfully stolen your address file and the malware that did it may still be present waiting for you to add new ones.
When going out to get such products as AVG, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, be careful of other offers for 'free scans' of your system. Double-check the integrity of the offerer before doing a scan from an unkown source since such sites often install new junk such as you already have.
You should also have a restricted sites list installed in your browser and update it fairly frequently since the varmints are always finding new ways to be a--holes.

We're talking about a webmail address - I wouldn't think it likely that a trojan is doing this. I just had it happen to me and I run primarily Linux and Android - most trojans are written to attack Windows. I'm still trying to figure out how this happened to me as well as getting it stopped. I suspect that someone broke my password and got my contacts. However, they are only sending to a subset of my contacts which makes me wonder if this is simple address harvesting from old emails: i.e. I forwarded a forwarded, forwarded email and the harvester picked all of the addresses off of it and randomly selected mine to use as the "from" address.

Help I think my Yahoo Account has been compromised or hacked!!

that happend to me. all you have to do is log on to your yahoo account and change your pass code . when you leave your yahoo account make sure you log out every time. if you stay logged in theres a much bigger chance of it being hacked again. your passcode should be made up of some numbers, mixed upper case and lower case letters. after i changed mine the problems stopped.

Someone sent spam emails from my closed yahoo mail account to all contacts. How can I stop this??

Its not closed. Its just hacked. Please see if you can access the e-mail and change the password and security questions. So that no one can use it.

Why is it that when I send messages some recipients don't receive my massages some do receive, but they also have Yahoo E-mail.They are there in the sent messages folder.

Are you getting any messages back stating a problem with sending to those people? It is possible that the ones who are not receiving your emails may have their anti spam settings set to strict. You will probably need to contact them by phone, and ask them to check their spam settings in their yahoo account. Sometimes if they do not have your email address in their contact list, it will block message from that address.Another possibility is that their yahoo.com email account is no longer active.

My email is sending out spam to those in my contacts without my consent or knowledge. how can i stop these emails from being sent?

Deactivate the address and create another, or contact Yahoo and tell them the problem. Your email account has been spoofed.

Your message was not sent

Your account has been temporarily blocked from sending messages. This block can be caused by sending messages that trigger our spam filters, or by having too many recipients in one email. We encourage you to review the contents and recipient list of your message, and try sending it at after an hour or two. Doing so will usually resolve the matter.
If you are still unable to send messages after a 24-hour period, please read our FAQ for more information and to request Customer Care assistance.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Someone is sending emails to all of my contacts and it is not me...how do I make this stop, short of closing my yahoo account... my email address is jeepgirltaylor@yahoo.com if this cannot be...

Hi,

There are chances that someone has knows your password and is sending mails from your email id. Check your sent folder to find out if someone has sent mail from your email id.

Or

Someone is using spam email ( third party ) and enter your email id in from field and sending the mails.

How do i unblock an e-mail from a friend, i think i put him in my spam blocker by mistake how do i get him out?

really this can vary from email provider.

I will give you a few things to try ..If this does not work , write back with your email provider for better instructions.

Try going into your email account: look for spam folder.. click on it.
find the email or email address you sent to spam. click or check its box.

now find the move to/send to button somewhere on your screen tools or menu.
Send or move it back to your inbox.
this should correct the problem.
___________________________________________

If it does not go into your contacts and add that particular address to your contacts.. by adding it to your personal contacts it should stop it from going to spam.

please remember to leave positive rating for my answer and a testimonial if it helped.
