Have a Dell Dimension. rebooted cpu and says keyboard failure hit F1 or F12. Mouse works and keyboard works in bios mode, but will not boot to XP Pro desktop. Tryed 2 sets of keyboards and mice. What do...

First, I would try booting to Safe Mode and see if that gets you to Windows. If it does, then it's a driver issue that can be relatively easily fixed by "Uninstalling" the keyboard in the Control Panel/Device Manager, then rebooting and letting the system reinstall the driver.

If that doesn't do it, then it sounds like the (assuming you're using a PS2 keyboard) PS2 keyboard plug port may be compromised (ie., damaged). Try using a USB keyboard instead and see if that solves your issue (as trying to repair a PS2 keyboard port is not practical).

Hope that's helpful.

How can I set the correct date and time on my Logitech MX 3200 wireless keyboard?

"To enter time/date setting format on the keyboard LCD, press the FN key and F10 key simultaneously." Also "LCD: Mode (F9): switch mode from Time/Date to Alarm to Timer to Character Count. Set (F10): press to set Time/Date, Alarm and Timer. Change batteries one by one to keep LCD settings. Remove the 4 keyboard batteries to reset Character Count to "o." Bell (f11): put Alarm On or Off. START/STOP (F12): start 01 pause Timer." The Logitech program group (should be on your Start menu) will give you further information for identifying keys, and for formatting the keyboard and mouse. Good luck.

I have a mx3200 cordless keyboard that has a clock and date window. The alarm clock goes off at 2:00pm how do i turn it off? Do you have a manual I can download?

got this off the logitech forum, The only instructions that I can find (which came with my relatively new pc) are on a large "Installation Guide," the most pertinent information from which is about setting the time and date: "To enter time/date setting format on the keyboard LCD, press the FN key and F10 key simultaneously." Also "LCD: Mode (F9): switch mode from Time/Date to Alarm to Timer to Character Count. Set (F10): press to set Time/Date, Alarm and Timer. Change batteries one by one to keep LCD settings. Remove the 4 keyboard batteries to reset Character Count to "o." Bell (f11): put Alarm On or Off. START/STOP (F12): start 01 pause Timer." Alarm

Mine did the same thing, only mine was at noon. Press the "FN" Key (between the left Alt. and left Ctrl Keys) and then the F11 Key. This will turn the alarm off then on again if the F11 key is pressed a second time.
