I need to change my TV from Pal 50 to Pal 60. In the TV manual it says it supports 50/60 Hz, but it seems to be set at 50 at the moment, and I have no idea how to change it to 60. It is a Goodmans LD2001. Is there anything I can buy which will convert it, if it isn't possible to change it from 50 to 60? Thanks

The wattge used should be listed on the machine or it's wiring. If not, you should go to ( sears.com ) and find support. I do not see a problem using an outlet there from a public power as long as you have set the unit to use the correct cycles which is normally 50Hz or 60Hz. Some electronic devices such as yours will operate on either, but you will normally have a switch to manually set which Hz setting you need. The power you recieve from the utility will be either 50Hz or 60 Hz and you will have to set the unit to match the utilities rating. Best Wishes.
To those who want to have the Motionflow/Trumotion effect on this Plasma Flat Panel TV or similar models, do the following:
1. Set your media player / source (PS3, Xbox 360, Western Digital Media player, Apple TV, etc) at 720p@50hz / 1080i@50hz / 1080p@50hz. Note: not all player supports 50hz read your source manual if your source/media player can support 50hz 2. Go to the TV's menu and select Setup 3. Select Other Settings 4. You will be able to change refresh rate to 100hz for a Motionflow/Trumotion effect that they have on LCD/LED (if you don't see the 100hz setting that means your source is at 60hz not 50hz) Note: 100hz refresh rate is different from 600hz subfield drive.
do u have your 360 display settings at 60hz if so the tv might not be compatiable with a 60hz signel go to display setting and drop back to 50 hz and colour may show it self but remember some games wont play in 50hz if this is the case try find a ntsc to pal converter
