Just bought a nice LU3007 from ZG Watches UK. But time and date screw crown cant be tightened after adjustment, trying to press and turn clockwise, but the srew keeps turning. Thanks for your answer

I don't know your watch but as an engineer, I would expect there to be a single position where the crown can be pressed in.

Try applying a gentle pressure to the crown while you are slowly rotating it an you may be able to find a spot where it hits and slight depression, (a soft touch required here). When you find this spot, press the crown firmly and then rotate.

If you still have no luck, try speaking to the supplier to find a local repair center who should be able to give you some knowledgeable advice, as I feel sure that you will not be the first person to have this problem.

Altenatively go to to find the information on service center locations and contact numbers.

Crown will not screw down

The model 3001 does not have a screw down crown, but is just as water resistant as a screw down style

The crown on my Luminox 8362 doesn't push and pull to set the watch? HELP!!! THANKS!!!

If it's like my Luminox 1828, the crown has to be unscrewed before it can be pulled out and worked like a regular crown. Just don't forget to screw it back down afterwards.

Stem was not staying down and know the stem is

the 3200 model was one of the sturdiest models Luminox has ever made...the crown is not too expensive to replace and unless the threads on the case tube are bad or there is water damage it would be worth repairing IMHO

Hi i cant set the date on my luminox 3402 it seems like stuck, or does it need a special combiantion to set it halp pls

No special combination.
hopefuly this is just a matter of the stem being stuck in the wrong place on the set bridge. This is easy enough to fix for a watch maker/technician and wont take but a moment.
The extreme end of the problem would be that you have a mass of problems in the gear train and the movement needs to be serviced. In this case I would demand that the movement be replaced as opposed to being serviced. These days most movement repairs are cheaper and more effective when the movement is replaced.
In either case take your watch to a watch maker/technician. Be sure that whom ever you take it to has a pressure testing machine to insure the watch has been resealed. The Luminox is sturdy and built for water and you do not want to lose the integrity of the seal. It is too easy to do with the style of back they use.

I cant pull out the date/time pin on my luminox 3204. any suggestions?

On some watches - scuba usually - the crown has a rubber seal and that seal is engaged when the crown is screwed to the case. If your watch is like this, you need to unscrew the crown before you can pull out the stem. Twist the crown in a counterclockwise direction several turns. You will be able to tell when it is completely unscrewed because youwill feel spring tension. Pull out the stem to set the watch. When you finish, push the stem back in. Push against the spring tension and carefully thread the crown back onto the case. That should do it.

My problem is not mechanical. Rather, an issue of authenticity. I see a lot of information regarding replica LUMINOX watches. My question is: How can a potential buyer detect a "fake" from the real-deal?

Well I'm, not an expert of fake Luminox, only the real ones, but I will tell you that a 'real' Luminox will be heavy to the touch, good quality steel...another thing that is a must if it is real is the glass tubes on the hands and on the dial at the hour markers...they are very small glass tubes that are not 'charged' by putting in light, they stay lit regardless of any surrounding factors...most fake watches will have 'painted' on glow onto the dial and especially the hands...this model also has a screw-down crown and sapphire crystal...hope this has helped...good luck :)

Luminox Marine 1590- need instruction manual to help setting date and time

This model is like any other analog watch, only difference is the screw-down crown...turn counter-clockwise until crown pops up...pull out 2 clicks and set time...push in 1 click to set the date, then into case completely...remember to screw down watch back into case...good luck :)
