I had the same problem with my camera not loading, and i tried the utility progam and still had the same problem. I got a card reader and noticed that some of the pictures didnt come out on the memory card right and couldnt read them. So then i tried the camera again but this time with the card out and just took a picture and used the internal memory. It worked now, so i just reformatted my memory card and now everything works now. Richard

How to install software for kodak m530

Two software programs are recommended for your camera:
  1. KODAK Share Button App:
    • Upload your tagged pictures and videos from your camera to the KODAK Gallery for FACEBOOK, FACEBOOK Social Network, YouTube and FLICKR Services, or e-mail.
    • Transfer pictures and videos to your computer.
    • Set the date and time on your camera from your computer.

  2. EASYSHARE Software
  • Organize your pictures with your own tags, star ratings, and date and time stamps, then use the search feature to quickly find any picture in your collection.
  • Edit your pictures with ease; select from a variety of simple tools that reduce red-eye, improve lighting, remove wrinkles and blemishes, and add text.
  • Create photo projects online or at home; choose from hundreds of templates and designs to create album pages, cards, invitations, and much more.
  • Manually upload pictures and videos to the KODAK Gallery for FACEBOOK, FACEBOOK Social Network, YouTube and FLICKR Services, or e-mail.

I have a Kodak EasyShare 10.3 mega pixels and I am trying to send the pictures to my email via the share button on my camera. How do I do this? The book doesn't even tell about it. Thank you Michele...

You'll find the directions in the EasyShare Software help. Set you the account information in the software. Start the software and click Tools > Preferences. Then go to Upload Settings or Gallery Settings. Add an account if needed (No Account is the initial information). Select a service and choose Authorize Now or Account Setup. Follow the directions on screen and then return to the settings page. Then choose Publish Account or Account Setup to finalize the automatic upload (sharing) process

Next choose Tools > Preferences > Shared Settings and choose the default online service. Now you should be able to connect to the internet, turn on the device and upload the picture. If you are using the EasyShare Dock, press Transfer.

Keep getting a code 1312x17x4252799284x and want install program.

I?m not sure if you?re fault code is showing on the computer, Easy Share Software, or the camera itself. Therefor I will list 2 possible solutions: If the fault message is on the LCD on the camera: There is no firmware available online for this camera model. Therefor you do need to set up a "repair" with KODAK directly. An Out of Warranty repair for this model for this fault is about 88 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price. In order to arrange your repair/Trade up: Contact KODAK: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=14563&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=3490 If you're experiencing this fault code on the computer: Please do a Clean Install on the Easy Share Software: Please follow the instructions: Uninstall Easy Share software: Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs. Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.
If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember your USB cable is covered under the same warranty as your camera, so remember your serial number when calling:
