When you rightclick on MY COMPUTER then choose MANAGE, in the device manager, do you have another display controller appearing? if so, then you only have to install the drivers you've got with your new card, then in DISPLAY from the control panel, you will have to go to the SETTINGS tab and lightly move the second diplay then it will ask you if you want to activate it.
if there is no other display controller in the DEVICE MANAGER you should try to reboot and access the bios in witch you will found an option for selecting the first display controller to be used. so, choose PCI, and save, then reboot.

A8v deluxe have no sound after rebuild of system, have try different driver and update but still no sound

Did you checked the bios setting for your audio? It should be set to Auto. See the Advanced tab in bios, onboard Devices Configuration section 4.4.4 page 4-23 in your manual. On the other hand if you open windows device manager and within Sound, video and game controller you see either unknown PCI device or a yellow pair shaped icon with an ! point in it, than you'll need to install the audio software through windows device manager. Make sure your Asus driver CD is loaded into your CD-Rom drive. Open windows device manager again. Right click once on the unknown PCI device and left click once on update driver. Follow the on screen prompts. Point windows to the CD. You may need to open the driver folder on the CD and click on it once so it is high lighted. Than click OK. The audio driver software should install. If this fails to fix your issue than the onboard audio chip is defective. You can not repair this.
If your MB is still in warranty (Asus 3yr). You can RMA the MB.

Happy holidays!

Pci express will not work

Your N9600GT provides two HDMI out puts for dual display.
Even though you are currently only using one HDMI. Switch your monitor cable to the other HDMI out put. See if you now have display.
Also while in the bios allow, Page 2-27 in manual, Allocate IRQ to PCI set to [Yes]. Page 2-24, Internal Graphics Mode Select, [Disable]

Luck!

For ASUS A8V-MX Motherboard which graphics card should use

This Motherboard has onboard VGA, but if you want to upgrade the expansion slot is a AGP. so you will have to purchase a AGP VGA card. ATi or Nvidia would be good enough.

Replacement motherboard for my ASUS P4c800 Deluxe motherboard

The socket 478 platforms are becomming less in demand yet still a viable platform. You do have options in replacing this motherboard such as Ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/items/asus%20p4c800?_dmd=1&_sop=12. They are a little bit expensive in my opinion but still cheaper than a complete system upgrade.

Here is another option for you to consider at quite a lower cost. I have built many systems with BIOSTAR motherboards and have been very happy with the quality and price. The only difference here is there is no AGP video card expansion slot. If you are gamming or using video intensive applications with an older AGP video card you will need to upgrade to a PCI Express video card. If not this mother board has onboard video and does not require a video card at all. I hope this helps you solve your problem. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138079

P.S. Any Intel based socket 478 motherboard should work with your current system. With possible slight variations as noted above.

My computer mother board is asus a8v mx i format my c drive . and re load every thing but the sound is not working

go to cmos , press DEL key to enter cmos, look for the "integrated peripherals" menu, find the onboard sound and make sure it is enabled, press ESC to navigate away from the page, them save and exit to store the settings, restart then load the sound drivers from the cd that came with the motherboard.
