• To set data remove cartridges then replace.leave for 20 or 30 secs
• Press the power button again to shut down
• Then press power button to power up.
• The printer will feed one piece of paper through then set language and counrty.

You can fix this. Usually this is a false fuser code. I have a tip posted on this site to reset the code. Just look at the tips and search for Sharp AL series H4 code reset. Your Xerox XD series copier is made by Sharp and was a Sharp AL series copier. The reset procedure is the same.

I found the fix. It's so easy.
Take out the battery
When it says hit the reset button, hit the reset button.
Turn the camera to off
Take out the battery
Wait 2 minutes
Put the battery back in.
Turn on the camera. It won't say reset anymore.
