There is a way to save a copy to your computer. This way you can burn it off to a CD disk, and have it at your fingertips anytime you wish. (Or flashdrive, except they have a tendency to mess up)

After looking at the copy you made to make sure it is good, you can then delete it from your computer, and save harddrive space.

If you do not know how, and wish to, simply post back in a Comment.

I'm looking for a recovery disk for my MSI ms-1013 notebook.

unless you made one or you were provided with an installation disk

Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10 key,ie: Alt+F10, it will open the recovery console ,select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction. (Note:this will erase all datas on the computer)

Note: The Microsoft Windows XP CD is a bootable CD and in many cases you should not need a bootable floppy diskette. Booting from the Windows XP CD will allow you to not only install/re-install Windows XP but will also allow you to troubleshoot it.

Create MS-DOS bootable diskette

When formatting a floppy diskette, users have the option of creating a MS-DOS startup disk, follow the below steps to do this.

1. Place diskette in the computer.

2. Open My Computer, right-click the A: drive and click Format.

3. In the Format window, check Create an MS-DOS startup disk.

4. Click Start

Create Windows XP Setup diskettes

Microsoft is beginning to phase out bootable floppy diskettes in favor of bootable CD discs and has not included a method of easily creating a bootable floppy diskette in Windows XP or from the CD. However, Microsoft has downloads available for users who still need to create bootable diskettes to install (not upgrade) Windows XP. These downloads can be found through KB310994.

hope this helps you

Hi , i was wondering was there a way to download oovoo to your flashdrive and how do i do that.

ooVoo is an audio and video instant messenger for windows enabling Skipe like features, but with more features like desktop sharing, Sidebar views, Social Network Implementations.. etc.

yes. there is a portable version available so that you can save it in your USB Pen Drive and use it with out any installation.
Trick is that it saves all configurations in separate file in installation directory instead of default %APPS% directory.

Some of portable versions of ooVoo is found on this site.
you may take precautions to avoid virus attacks.

thank you

How can i install a 320GB sata II hd using Win XP without that jurassic 1.44 damned Disk ?

You can slipstream the drivers from the floppy into an ISO image of the Windows XP installation CD using a program like nLite.
You can then burn the slipstream ISO image into a CD & use it to boot & install Windows XP without the need to use the floppy disk.

You can download nLite at the following link:
After downloading the installer, install the program & start using it.

The following link describes how to use nLite to slipstraem the SATA drivers into the Windows XP installation CD.

I tried this myself, & it worked without problems. I now no longer need to use the floppy drive when installing Windows XP on my system.

you need your windows xp disc preferably slip streamed with SP 2 or SP 3 and then you should be able to install it onto your sata hard drive.

If you are having issues then you may need to extract the sata drivers onto a memory stick or floppy disk and press F6 before windows xp loads and specify to use the sata drivers which you can download from the motherboards manufacturers website generally as a zip file which you will first need to extract into a folder.

If that does not work using the memory stick you can use nlite to slipstream the drivers with your windows xp disc :

Nlite download

Support cd

All of the drivers are available on Intel's support site - using a different computer, you can use Nero, PowerISO, etc to make an image of your windows disk; Download the motherboard drivers on the same computer, then download and use WinLite - you can automate the windows installation, include drivers and Windows Update Patches, and burn it all onto a boot-able disk! (Basically, make your own System Recovery CD)
