DVD drawer does not open when you push button to open DVD drawer

The most likely cause is damage, which should be seen with the eye. It could be a belt, broken cogs/teeth in the sledge mechansim, or a micro leaf switch bent out of place.

Dvd burner won't burn!

do you still have the software for your external dvd...if so...uninstall start all over like it is brand new...reinstall and reconnect the dvd....this shoud do the trick...

all dvd movie take 2-3 hrs to burn (some even 4 hrs..depends on the lenght)...and for the future never just turn off any data transfering devices....not even your pc when windows is updating....
