Re: cd will not play and keeps ejecting

I had this code on my cd player (multi changer in the trunk)..was this way for about 5 months..I then decided that a high compressed can of air might do the trick..I sprayed compressed air into the mouth of the cd changer..also put my fingers inside and physically jiggled it..and lo and behold..the cd that was being held prisoner released and my cd changer is working normally again..hope this works for anyone else!

Re: cd will not play and keeps ejecting

Source Changer Error Codes ? E-00: Poor Cable connection. ? E-01: Magazine not properly set in changer. ? E-02: No Disc in magazine. ? E-03: CD does not have selected track number. ? E-04: Disc is dirty, upside down or unreadable. ? E-10: No data is recorded on the MD. The player plays the next disc automatically. ? E-99: Changer malfunction, disc may be caught in machine or changer requires service. Sounds like the mech is gummed up, jammed, or a cd is stuck inside. Get a nerd to open it up and check it over. Luck

Your CD may not be music CD. Some car radio doesn't accept MP3 or WMV files. Change it to a good radio such as JVC car radio.

CD is stuck and eject button doesn't work

Unplug the cd player and open the unit up by taking the top cover off..there will be screws holding it on on the underside. You should be able to retrieve the cd from inside. Your track is broken, you will need to replace it.

It sounds like it is attempting to read the t.o.c. (table of contents) which tell the unit where everything is on the cd,and failing to do so, then ejecting, the first thing to do is try cleaning the lens and if there is no change then replace the laser pickup

Cd ejection

Look for a tiny, recessed Reset button on the front of the unit with the face removed. Press this button with a pen tip; it should spit out the CD and work correctly afterwards. This will also erase your station presets and audio settings.
