Hi, If you have a memory card installed, backup your contacts to the memory card, then remove it. type this code onto your phone *#7370#, phone will ask you for security code, enter 12345(default) and wait. when it restarts, all problems will be gone. insert your memory card again and restore your contacts. Good Luck. Thanks for using FixYa.
If that would be your case that the phone is always asking you to format the MMC, your MMC could have been damaged or getting into being corrupted, please try using another MMC, and reformat it, then re-boot the phone, see if that works.
If that works(your other MMC) it simply means that your MMC is corrupted or faulty, have it replaced (buy a new one)

The best way to solve this would be to try to format it using a PC with the appropriate card reader. Then, if the format is not exactly that which the phone desires, try to reformat with the phone again.
If it fails again using the phone (which it shouldn't), you should contact the manufacturer as it is an obvious hardware issue.
i cannot actually get what is the problem here but if you trying to ask how to format the mmc you can use a card reader that has an MMC slot. this can be displayed automatically on your windows explorer. right click and choose format to format the MMC.
