I have the same problem with the mouse. I have changed the preferences within Control Panel > Mouse, but it still does multiple clicks with a single click.

When I click it registers as 0, 1, or 2 dicks. Most often 2 clicks. I have Vista Business and I'm using the default Microsoft drivers, not Logitech. It worked fine for 13 months. I have a tablet PC and the pen works fine.

Same problem with cheap INLAND brand USB optical mouse on Windows XP. I am very computer savvy, and have tried every Control Panel setting to no avail. Either using incorrect mouse drivers (MS defaults) or time to stop buying cheap sale items :(

MI PD905P single click (left only) registers as double click about half the time. Several web site discuss repair possibilities for other brands, but not MI.

Switched left and right buttons via Control Panel to fix this until I get a new mouse.
