I tried to format my 8GB pen drive(s.i.l.q)it says it cant format and now i cant even open it,may be what happened was the soft ware of that have been in it has lost.every time i tried open( pen drive)it says your pen is not formatted.so i cant open it.

Download Boot & Nuke (google it), use the 3 pass method. Copy/burn/etc it in/on the media you want to use, i used a CD so i burned it on CD (think it was a an .ISO). However, it will not get any data back, even with saftware specifically designed for this purpose. So if you want to keep anything back it up now or if anable to acces it, gogle for best (free) recovery software.
The problem with Boot & Nuke is not that it doesn't work, if it has any it's that it works TO GOOD. Read their FAQ.
