Quantum XL-6000 automatic threading system not working

When attempting to thread my Quantum XL-6000 using the automatic threading feature, the machine grabs the thread but at the end of the process when the thread goes through the needle, the thread slips through needle and does not actually thread the needle. What's wrong?

How do you get the auto threading and wind in place to work on Singer XL6000 sewing machine

There are several FB and Yahoo groups dedicated to the Quantum XL-1000, XL-5000 and XL-6000 who can help you. It may be that your problem with the autothreading is the autothreader is out of adjustment, but I'm at a loss as to the bobbin winder problem.

Bobbin will not wind on self-winding bobbin machine. Need help.

I think that maybe it's not threaded properly. I have had this happen a few times and had to re thread it. I leave mine threaded all the time because it can be hard to get it done correctly.
Good Luck.

Thread not catchling

Try changing the needle
Try rethreading the machine top and bobbin
Make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way In the bobbin case
It's possible that the machine needs to be checked for a timing problem

Needle tip breaks when machine makes a few resolutions

You may be using the wrong needle for the thread that is currently in the machine. Check the manual that came with your machine to see what needle size is suggested for your project's thread and fabric.

MY XL 6000 IS NOT WORKING

Dear snoopy5,

First of all, the XL 6000 is a fantastic machine and offer excellent value for money, but you need to take care of your machine. My first suggestion would be to check the feeding mechanism for any tangled up thread. Look carefully under a bright light. I suppose you know how to get to the mechanism by opening the light cover and swing it open on its hinges.

If it makes any noises do not try to operate the machine, as you can cause more damge.

Regards

Dupina
