I called my server as incredimail took over my google home page. This is what we did....
Click tools on the toolbar. When it opens select internet options. When the internet options opens you will see the home page box. Delete the incredimail address and put your homepage address in. Then click apply then OK . Then go out of the interent (close) and when you go back in the beast is gone. At least it was for me.

Click on Tools, click on internet options and then delete the incredimail address out of the home page window. Type in your address for your homepage. Click apply and then OK. Close the internet and then re-open and incredimail should be no more. I called my server to help me as I was really ticked with incredimail and there no choice methods of being stuck with them.

Incredimail is still registered as the default mail client, to get back the previous one, go to internet explorer then tool menu and in internet option, program tab, and check back your default mail client.

How do you empty the sentbox in incredimail?

?

A: The 'Deleted Items' folder contains the email messages deleted from your other folders. It is recommended that you empty the 'Deleted Items'folder from time to time, to avoid the build up of old and unnecessary email, which may slow down your email environment.

To empty the 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder'. If the 'Deleted Items' folder is not emptied, please follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the IncrediMail Tray Icon (orange envelope), located in the lower right corner (near the computer clock), and select 'Exit'.
  2. Windows 2000 or XP users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your Profile(Logon Name)\Local Settings\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store

Windows 98 or ME users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Windows\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store
  3. Delete the 'Deleted Items.imm' and the 'Deleted Items.imh' files.
  4. Open IncrediMail. Next time you wish to empty your 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' folder'.

Removing fliptoast from the program list doesn't get rid of it. It continues to appear on the top of most programs I run. How can I totally shred this little ******?

Hi Llewellyn,

Did you delete the program from your programs folder or did you uninstall it through 'add/remove programs' in your control panel. Simply deleting it from your list of program files will not uninstall the program.
Deleting installed programs could also corrupt your windows installation.

Best wishes,
Graemevm

I uninstalled incredimail but it seems to appear when I open onto google. How do I get rid of it altogether?

    1) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel
    2) Double click on Add/Remove Programs
    3) Find "Incredimail" in the list of installed programs and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it.

    Problems with Uninstalling Incredimail:-
Unfortunately, when the normal procedure for uninstalling Incredimail does not work, it can leave parts of Incredimail still intact.

Here is the list from Microsoft of the items in the registry that should be removed.
In run command write regedit and pless Enter
    Under the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT key, delete the following keys: \.ima \.imf \.imi \.imn \.ims \.imw \Applications\Impcontent.exe \Applications\Incredimail \Incredicontent \Incredimessage b. Under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key, delete the following keys: Software\Classes\.imc Software\Clients\Mail\Incredimail Software\Elishim\Protect\Browser (remove the Incredimail value) Software\Incredimail Software\Microsoft\Direct3D\Most Recent Applications\ (remove the NAME value that points to Incredimail.exe) \Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\Incredimail
    c. Delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu\Programs\Incredimail key.

    2 operating systems

The Boot Configuration Data (BCD) store contains boot configuration parameters and controls how the operating system is started in Microsoft®Windows Vista.
Remove Windows Vista From Dual Boot System Windows Vista works slightly different from earlier versions of Windows when installed on a dual boot system, in that it has a completely different boot loader.
When Windows Vista is first installed as a dual boot operating system a new boot folder is added to the root directory of your PC. This is a hidden file and therefore is not noticed. When you boot your PC a menu appears with the following options:
    • Earlier versions of Windows
    • Windows Vista
Clicking the Windows Vista option will boot the PC into Windows Vista. If, however, you select the earlier versions of Windows option, another menu will appear from which you can choose Windows XP or whatever earlier version - Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server - you installed first.
Because of this new boot loader it is not as easy to remove Vista from a dual boot system scenario. Simply deleting the Vista partition will, of course, remove Windows Vista, but, unfortunately, it will not remove the Windows Vista boot loader. For this reason, if you simply delete the Windows Vista partition, on rebooting your machine you will not automatically boot into Windows XP (or an earlier version). Instead you will once again be presented with a menu from which you have to choose which operating system you wish to boot to.
Obviously, once you have removed the boot loader and rebooted the Vista operating system will still be on the partition you originally installed it on. To remove Vista completely you will need to Delete the partition that Windows Vista was installed upon.
To remove this menu, or more to the point, the boot loader, proceed as follows:
1/ Boot the PC to Windows Vista
2/ Ensure you are logged onto the Internet and then download the freeware boot loader utility VistaBootPro (www.vistabootpro.org)
3/ Once you have downloaded VistaBootPro, install it on your machine
4/ During Install VistaBootPro will install an icon on your desktop
5/ Locate the VistaBootPro icon and Right Click on it. Then, from the drop down menu, Click on the Run As Administrator option
6/ User Account Control (UAC) will pop up and ask for permission to run the program
7/ After you have given UAC permission - you must be the administrator or have administrator privileges - VistaBootPro will run.
8/ Once VistaBootPro opens, Click on the Bootloader tab
9/ In the Bootloader Maintenance section, Click on the Radio button next to the option marked 'Uninstall the Vista Bootloader (Used to restore Legacy OS) option' and then Click the Apply button
    10/ Finally Reboot your PC
11/ On rebooting your machine you will boot directly into Windows XP (or an earlier operating system). No menu will appear.
12/ All that is left to do now is to delete the partition which originally contained Windows Vista. (Assuming you wish to remove the Vista partition from your hard drive).

I fixed it! Go to the Programs & features in control panel (in Vista), XP users go to Install/Uninstall programs. Highlight Incredimail & click on Uninstall, A dialogue box will appear that gives you the option to uninstall or repair. Click on repair and wait for Incredimal to finish repairing. Incredimail should now work.
