Question about Mitsubishi WS-55513 55" Rear Projection HDTV
I have the blinking light of death and I have replaced the capacitors and I still have the blinking light. The caps were bulged out so they were bad but once I replaced the new ones, the tv still has the light. I tried putting the circuit board in without the case to insure that it was put in correctly, and that still didnt work. I tried putting a paper clip on each fuse one by one and plugged in the tv but that was no help. I am going to test the fuses tomorrow with a multimeter. Is there anything else I can test? Any suggestions on what to do next? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
It would seem that you posted twice. My compliments on accomplishing the replacement of the 4 1000 uF/16V capacitors on the DM board.
Toyour concern, the blinking is still there even after having replacedthe caps, a friendly reminder, the capacitors are polarized, there arespecific +/-. Additionally, you may have to check the pico fuses. Theywould be on the backside of the DM board and would be very close nearto the solder points of the 4 caps. They are marked FB900, FB901 andFB902. Rating would be 125V 4amp. Possible source maybe here.
Justa start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additionalinformation. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
