Question about Refrigerators
I have a GE refridgerator, model number GSS25TGPAWW. The water dispenser will not turn off. The switch that operates the water has part number V5K032EB3C. I cannot find this part number as a replacement.

Sound like maybe a dispenser board short... you could try taking of the top hidge cap on the freezer side unplug the power to the board there for 30 minustes or so plug back in and see if it can reset to default and try that before u have to change board

check your water filter. water preasure is important in the operation of the water valves. if the filter is ok replace the valve. water filter should be changed at least once every year.

I have a gsl25jfpe bs ge regrigerator and the baffle motor that controls air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator is out. This had been causing everthing in the fridge to freeze and cause the water to stop working due to water freezing in the storage tank. The baffle is in the back top of the fridge covered with a plastic cover. Remove plastic cover to check baffle function.

take both hands and place on the front bottom edge of control panel pull up and out it is hard and you think you are going to break something but you are not when you get the control panel off there will be 4 screws at each corner undo them and slide that piece off then you can see your door
