Problem for Apple iPhone 3G

My phone won't ring

when a call comes in, my phone vibrates, but doesn't ring. Also it doesn't make keyboard clicks. Everything seems to be set to "On" in sounds.What am I doing wrong?

- duxxyuk, we have a problem ...we are not stupid, the phone has the vibrate/ring switch broken.

Is there anyway to switch it via software? without having to open the phone?

1. Check that the little slider on the left side of the phone is set such that no orange dot is visible

2. Use the volume keys on the left side of the phone to check that Ringer is not at 0.
