Question about Motorola Mobility V220
A few days ago i was in my room and i dropped my motorola v220 phone on the ground and i checked to see if it was ok and it was. well today i was watchin tv and i looked at my motorola v220 phone the background and little bar at the bottom of the screen that says camera and names were all messed up. it did that earlier and all i did that time was press a number and it worked so i did that again but it didnt work. so i cut the phone off and turned it back on to see if that would help and the screen was black!!! everything still works on the phone like i can still dial a phone number and call it but nothing shows up on the screen. i've tried everything and it still wont come on. it hasnt been near any water, i havent dropped it anymore, its just been at my house on the charger. i need help and i really dont want to buy a new phone so please if you can help me :(
If you have a dead screen: You must Disconnect the ribbon cable between main case and LCD screen. be carefull lifting the connector and put it back in place. To reach the ribbon cable, you have to disassembly the phone. Google search with 'Motorola V220 Full Housing Installation' for a detailed procedure with pictures. attention: It may void any waranty!!
