I have a toshiba a135. the screen has a red color to it. i replace the power inverter and the lcd screen but nothing changed. I was putting it back togeather and i was moving the lcd screen and the redness...

This could be a faulty CCFL lamp.
To determine if you have a LCD screen, inverter or video card problem, read this and follow these instructions.
Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

Laptop turns on, Screen stays blank

Sounds like one of two options, it's either a blown out back light or you have a graphics problem. If it's the back light, you should still hear windows boot up and no picture. Try one of two things. Either hook it up to a external monitor or try a flashlight and see if you can see any images when you shine it across the screen.

Laptop screen goes white

Hi there Try to connect it to an external monitor and see how it goes. If the problem stays, that mean your video chip is probably defective. bad news since it's integrated in the main board. Replacement of this is costly. Unless it's still under waranty of course. If not, that means your inverter is probably defective and needs to be replaced.

You might want to plug in external monitor to make sure your screen did not burn out before doing anything else.Good luck and have a good day.

Satellite a135-s2266

check for the lights on the front panel. make sure that the battery and ac light is lit on. check for any light activity on the HDD light indicator. if it's a black screen, try to use a flashlight and check if there's a faint image. if there is none, there is a problem with the video card or the system board on your computer. if you have an external monitor please try to connect it to your laptop so that we could isolate if there's something wrong with the video card. to toggle the display kindly press Fn and F5.

i hope this info helps.
