Check your invoice, the warrenty used to be on it most of the times, mostly it's at least 1 year.
And search for a sticker on the machine, sometimes it shows this information as well, but to get a charger you'll need to find the invoice anyway.

sounds like a case of a wrong psu, you need to send the system back to Dell if i is still under warranty, if not the repairs for such a high end system are not cheap and can run into hundreds or more just for the boards to repair it!, contact them at www.dell.com/ and see about this issue as I have not had much experience with high end gaming laptops.

To whom it may concern, My name is heather. I have a Toshiba L505D. That I purchased last March 2010. It is still under warranty and the computer is no longer charging.I even bought a new charger for it...

Hello.

With the cables disconnected, remove and reinsert the battery. Also, try to power on with the battery removed to see if the battery is faulty.

If still a problem, and since your computer is still under warranty, I would strongly suggest to contact Toshiba for a repair.

Since Toshiba is world-wide, look in your documentation for a tech support or customer support contact for Toshiba.

Hope this helps.

I have a brand new EPC but it wont turn on, even when connected to the wall charger.. i dont know whats wrong its brand new..

Good day.
You may try first removing the battery pack, just the wall charger. Try to power on.Brand new unit is under warranty and that means it's FREE replacement and repair provided by your local store . It is impractical to repair it your self because you may void the warranty.
Good luck.

Have pluged in charger in laptop but it will not charge. have tried the charger on the other laptop and the charger is working

Hi, If Battery Light is blinking orange, then it could be that your battery is toast and that you need a new battery. That'll cost you about $50.00 for a new one.

Check and see if you conector into the pc is loose. If it is you are shorting the adapter and potentially the board. You will need to take the system to a tech that can repair the motherboard. If the system is still under warranty contact HP.

Getting ripped-off on warranty coverage!!!

Are you using the original disk that came with the computer?

That has windows with the drivers preinstalled on it for that machine.

You may have to use some elses working computer to go online and download the drivers and install them manually. I would try this.

The blue screen issues mean there hardware failure. Most likely do to bad drivers.

As for warranty, you could technically file suite against them, but it would cost more in court fees and attorneys than you would ever get back.

Sounds like the charge socket is not properly seated on the motherboard. I would call customer service on where you bought the laptop and tell them the situation. But by all mean DO NO continue to use it. You may do damage that they say "Is your fault"

Trust me I have had clients that have "Been there .. done that"

Good luck

My psp has stoped working. when i turn it on the green light will stay on for 20 sec but the screen will not light up. the unit did not fall or get damaged

So, the power goes on, but nothing but a black screen... try pressing the brightness button. If that doesn't work... you've probably got a bricked PSP. Did you try updating before this started?

yeah it sounds bricked, did you go and try to mod it in anyway? if not then send it back to sony, they'll send you a new one. Try shaking it reall hard. Does anything sound loose in there?

Time to use that store warranty or manufacturer warranty.
take out the battery, plug in the charger and then try turning it on......if it works then you battery is probably dead forever and you need a new one, if it doesn't then you may have a bigger problem because you may of knock something loose and the PSP itself isn't receiving power. if thats the case then the only thing you can do is try and get it fixed or just buy a new one

When i plug in my charger to my laptop it doesnt work and i dont know whats wrong with it

This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities. 1.- Computer AC / DC cable is bad not allowing the computer battery to charge.
2.- Battery is bad.
3.- Battery charger board is bad.

Solutions:
1.- Computer AC / DC cable is bad not allowing the computer battery to charge
Verify that the AC and or DC cable is not bad by testing the computer only with the power plug connected and the battery out of the laptop.
2.- Battery is bad
It is possible that if the power plug is good that the computer battery is bad. Leave the computer connected to the power with the battery connected in the computer for at least one hour; if the battery does not charge, consider having the battery and/or the laptop serviced or repaired.
If the computer and/or battery is not in warranty consider just replacing the battery as it is very likely that it is just a bad battery.
3.- Battery charger board is bad
If the battery has been replaced or an alternate battery from an alternate identical laptop does not work in the computer, it is likely that the power or charger board within the laptop is bad. It is recommended that the laptop be serviced or repaired.

This will fix your problem.

My cd drive will not work. the cd goes in my computer makes some noise as if it is going round but nothing happens. it is like this for music cd's and cd rom's

Sounds like your drive motor gear is bad... Its time to replace the Unit. If its under warranty call your warranty provide, otherwise you will need to purchase a new drive and install it. Installation is VERY easy on a CD drive and can be done in only a few minutes in most cases.
However if you have reservations about doing it, I recommend contacting someone who is comfortable working on computers!
Sorry we couldn't fix it... sometimes they just break!
