What size glass tray do I need for my Westinghouse model WCM770B/W microwave? I broke mine and cannot find the answer in the manual.

Frequent thrift stores or yard sales, or take a tape measure to the inside of the microwave
. If your dish was square, the glass plate should likely be about 1 inch less wide and 1 inch less deep that the inside of the box.
If you have a round plastic rotator, the dish should be about 1 -2 inches bigger in diameter than the plastic rotator.
God bless your efforts.

Wattage on JCPenney 863-5973-60

Multiply the Voltage times the current to get wattage. The information plate on the unit will give you both numbers. In either case the MAX it would use would on a 15amp 120 Volt circuit would be 1800 watts. If its on a 20 amps circuit it would be 2400 watts. Unless its on a 220V circuit it would be one or the other. If its installed properly it should be on its own circuit breaker, see what size of circuit breaker its on and use the appropriate value. it could be less but it will not be more than these values.

Make and model will usually be on a label plate on the back of the unit.
With the age of the unit and unlikely availability of spares you may be better to look for a new unit. Cheers, Dan

Can not determine the wattage of the microwave we bought. It is a GE microwave model #JNM1851DM4BB

There is no reference to this model on the GE website, but have a look at this webpage:

http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?Name=340104_jvm1851bhchshwh_r3.pdf&RequestType=PDF

The wattage of this model JVM1851 is 1100W.

If the model is a counter top unit, you can check whether there is a plate at the back of the oven with the wattage on it.

Does this pot have to be plugged into a 20 amp circuit? thank you.

There is no pot description in this post -- it reads "Problem with Microwave Ovens".

But, if you are talking about a cooking pot for your basic American kitchen, the answer would be no, it does not need a 20 amp circuit.

Is there a name-plate on the pot ? The amp draw should be on the name-plate.

Have an older gaffers and sattler stove with microwave built into top. do you know what wattage the microwave is. tahnk you. Paulamrella@verizon.net

Check the manufacturer plate label on your microwave. It may be written like this- KW usually beside the Manufacturer model number.

You could also do a little calculation by checking the voltage and ampage readings. multiply them is going to give you wattage.
