Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
I have a frigidaire gallery series electric stove.Today after we self clean the oven, when the oven door locking mechemism tried to unlock the door the stove main circuit breaker nblew down and when I reset the breakers they held on.The oven door locking mechesem rotated all the time now. I tried to remove the fron control pannel but couldn't get it loose after i removed the 4 screws above the oven door
Sounds as if there is a problem with the latch assy, there are 2 switches mounted on the latch mechanism for monitoring positon of hte switches, seems as if one has gone bad, not recognizing the door lock positon therfore continues to rotate without stop.part number for the motor latch assy w/switch and bracket 318095957 . located behind rear panel

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
You can perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power from your appliance for roughly ten minutes. If your control panel has a cancel button hold that down and that should release the door. If those steps do not correct the issue please comment back and I will be happy to assist you further. -Matt
