Remote control stopped working. (I have checked batteries and replaced remote control device.)

Read this procedure to possibly fix the remote:
http://remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Display&contents=help_deadremote&uuid=A12963989782821
They also sell replacement remotes.

Zoom in on the picture of the original remote provided on the site (or look at your own) and get the actual remote model number.

or check eBay: search for "(model of the device or the remote) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

My Bose lifestyle amplifier (SA-2, SA-3) suddenly stopped working while playing stored music. It has worked flawlessly for over 3 years until now. I replaced the batteries in the remote and checked all...

Check your settings on the main system setup mode and make sure the amp is enabled. If you still have an issue, post a comment and I can help you further.

Hi. My remote for this system has all of a sudden stopped working.. It has new batteries and the sensor on the top of it looks fine?

If you are using an universal remote control, maybe you'll need to re-enter the codes for the equipments you want to control, if it's the original one, possibly has an electronic fail caused by a former fall.

Receiver remote no longer works

It sounds as though your remote is working fine. Since the storm coincided with your problem I would say that your receiver suffered a power surge that damaged the infrared receiver inside the unit. One other thing to try is to unplug the unit from the wall for about one minute, then plug it back in and try it. If that doesn't do the trick you will have to send it to a repair facility.

Good Luck,
BB

i removed the red plastic cover from the remote sensor on the tv. behind that, i found a sticker from one of the parts inside the tv had come loose and fallen to where it was partially blocking the sensor. I removed the sticker and everything works great now.

My amp was working fine, then 1 day it went out. I jiggled the power cable and it would come on for a few minutes, but now I am not getting any power at all?

Checked both sides of the main (60w) fuse with a multimeter and found that it wasnt receiving power ofter the battery. Looked like the seals went bad and moisture somehow got into it, replaced it and it works fine now.
