Satellit 800-batt blinks w/new Duracell alkaline batteries.

Have you checked the voltage on the new batteries.??? Some batteries, even if they are new... have a short shelf life, if they aren't used. You will need a volt meter or battery tester...if you dont have either, take the batteries to a Radio Shack or even a Auto store and ask them to check it for you.

I just replaced the batteries in my 2 D LED maglite with duracell alkaline batteries and after about 5 minutes use seem to have blown the led. Torch is less than 1 year old and has had limited use. Looking...

The resistor needs to be disconnected at one end -- if the LED is removed this should have the same effect as disconnecting one end of the resistor.

Put the probes of an ohmeter on each end of the resistor -- if it reads 0 ohms (or near zero), it is shorted.

How can i check if which need replacement my batt or my charger coz when i charge my batt the led lights on then after a while it turn of the led light then ill unplug it and plug it then still the same...

Power Source Li-ion Rechargeable Battery (LI-42B) Are you using the above battery?
Check the voltage to make sure it has enough as printed on the charger or the battery.
Alkaline rechargeables, or NiMH rechargeables, or other types of batteries don't have enough voltage or amperage as compared to Li-ion.

Recently changed the battery and now everytime I shoot a picture the camera goes off and has to be re-powered back on to take another. Now, it won't power back on.

you need to check that you have put in the correct type of battery. Some cameras will only work with alkaline batteries.. I had this problem with my samsung when i inserted zinc batteries instead of alkaline, I use duracell cause they are pretty good for taking lots of shots before running out.

My Camera Won't Come On At All.

I have had this exact problem with this camera. I find it behaves much better with rechargeable batteries or oxyride disposables. The stupid part is that it is supplied with alkalines, which can't handle the power requirements of the camera. Even "High power" (eg duracell M3) alkalines are unlikely to work adequately.

Rechargeables will save money in the long run, anyway.

Canon S2 IS won't turn on with rechargeable batteries??

I would let them charge til you get an indication that they are done. TV remotes require very little power to operate, while digital cameras need a lot, so that's why the batteries would work in the remotes though not fully charged.

i suggest by 4 NIMH and a charger and look to capacities of above 2500 MAH (anything higher is better) this camera is power hungry all the time , i do not recommend duracell penlights (alkaline) they are draint in 3-5 shots even the high power alkaline cells (aa) of duracell
