Question about Sony VIAO P4 PCV-RS712 3.0GHz 512MB 200GB DVD RW DVD BRAND PC Desktop
I am a front desk manager at the hampton inn and i have a guest who is having a problem using our internet with his laptop. his laptop does have wireless and says it is connected to our network but he is unable to visit any websites. ive tried disconnecting and reconnecting and still nothing. is there something that has to be switched or turned off in or for him to have full capabilities
Ok cool, what i want you to do is right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless network and "un-install" the device, reboot the laptop and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again
