Question about Panasonic KX-T7730 Corded Phone

Open Question

Kx-t7730 panasonic Hello sir , I bought a new panasonic mentioned in the summary box above and I connected it to the main unit as mentioned in the manuals of both the phone and the main unit . well first sir is it possible for the main unit to function normally with one single outside line and not two as a friend told me ? and second and most important how can I get the incoming calls only to a single extension which is the PT panasonic mentioned and not to all as it is the situation right now . I mean right now when I get an incoming call from outside all the extensions phone ring and all able to answer it , and what I want is that the incoming calls get only to the main PT phone n I'll transfer it if I want to . and one more question if u have enough time sir what's the difference between forwarding a call and transfering it . Thanx a lot I appreciate ur time .

Somewhere in all of this text, maybe you can find the PROGRAMMING manual. Look for 3 digit codes numbered 405-408 or something like it.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

To remove forwarding, lift your handset, push the FWD/DND key and dial 0. Here is the quick manual for that model - http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXT7720.PDF

If you set call forward all calls then lift your handset press the FWD/DND button, dial 0 , you should get a tone, then hang up. If you set Follow Me then dial 8 and your extension number instead of the 0 . Good Luck. ....Mike

It depends what telephone system the KX-T7730 is connected to. You should have a Panasonic box that says 'KX-TA624', 'KX-TEA308, 'KX-TES824' or similar somewhere.
Depending which Telephone System you have, it may just need programming or it may need an additional card (circuit board) installing. Panasonic KX TEA TES Telephone Systems Tiny Telecom

Hi I have a panasonic KX-T7730 and I need to connect it to my linksys PAP2T Device. but I haven't Voice Over It. can I use this device with KX-T7730?

The 7730 is a Panasonic Analog System phone. It plugs into a Key Service Unit and the line port plugs into the PAP2T device. Model numbers like KXT-A624/824 are examples.

My KX-T7730 can't display, no tone.

KX-T7730 Phone must be connected with a 4wire line cord. you may be tested it with a 2 wire line connector.because other normal phones only needed 2wire line cords.Just connect a new 4w cord to under socket located to main unit & other end connect directly to the tel;system & see is the phone confirmed OK.
& let me know .Good luck.

Changing an ordinary phone to a PABX Phone

The KX-T7730 is a proprietary phone that needs to be connected to a Panasonic phone system. It sounds like you took the phone home and are trying to use the special features. These phones are "dumb terminals" everything is performed (and stored) at the control unit.
