You haven't specified what camera model you have, but I suspect the problem could be due to the white balance setting on the camera. Read your owners manual and check the section on adjusting the white balance. If you have it set for something opposite to the actual ambient lighting condition (ie the setting is for incandescent light bulbs, and you are shooting outdoors in sunlight, for example), then it can really throw the colour spectrum off.

Camera doesn't zoom or take picture.I put in new batteries and new film and before this camera worked great!

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

If the battery is low in my Minolta freedom zoom camera, will the film be pulled back into the roll?

No. If the camera pulled the film back into the roll with a low battery, you wouldn't be able to take any pictures, rendering the film, useless. Don't worry about it, and if it REALLY bugs you, keep fresh batteries in it.

Won't take picture though I replaced battery.

Even though it was cushioned somewhat the camera took enough damage to jam something. The flashing symbols are a generic error code it could mean the shutter, zoom, film transport, flash, or some combination of these system are not working (sorry but without tearing the camera apart I can't narrow the problem any further)

Canon Sure Shot 105 ZOOM ~TOTALLY LOST ~need any instructions I can get.

The flashing H means hat the camera has detected a hardware fault on starting up. It can also mean that the film has mis-loaded. Try removing the film & then the battery to reset it. Put the battery back & switch on. If it's still doing it then I'm afraid it's got the 'flashing "H" of Doom'. Although this is repairable, it's usually not economically viable.

i think it means the film hasn't loaded properly. I had this and opened up the back and the film hadn't wound so it wasn't exposed. Anyway i just wound the film around a bit and shut the back and it turned on like normal. hope this helps.

it seems that the flex ribbion cable from the camera body to the lense assembly is damaged. A good repairer can replace it.
