I was having problems doing any printing from it and my son got it to print a text page. But I just tried printing a page from the internet, it says it is spooling in a black window in the corner but nothing happens. I waited 2 minutes and it still didn't spool. I replaced the cord with a new USB 2.0 cord and restarted my computer and printer and it still won't spool. I tried troubleshooting and it says it fixed any problems but still no luck in the spooling. What else can I do?
SOURCE: New Kodak EasyShare 5100 will not print!
You might have to reformat your hard drive as there is something in your OS that is hindering the printing.
SOURCE: Will not turn off, will not print text, poor quality pictures
well..this is not a happy circumstance. I must report that when the paper is pulled through from the front, it can damage some innards, which I suspect is the case here.
sounds like it's a candidate for a factory service gig.

Clean the printhead, then print a demo sheet.
If the Demo print is bad- IE: no black, blurry print etc., then you may need to replace the printhead:

SOURCE: Kodak aio3 - stuck on 'spooling' using GIMP
First of all, GIMP uses its own printer drivers (you can view the make and model options under the "Setup Printer" choice in GIMP's Print interface). If your main printer driver choice is not found in GIMP's printer options, you won't be able to print in GIMP. Secondly, for GIMP assings a "Post Script 2" level to the printer by default. If you leave it there, it won't print. You have to change that by actually choose you printer make and model from the drop down box and the save the settings or it will revert back to Post Script 2 on the next load. Hope this helps.
SOURCE: When I print, it says spooling
Go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, Cancel any pending document on your Kodak Printer, then delete all kodak icons.
Turn off the printer, Unplug and Replug the USB cable, then turn on the printer. If nothing happens..
Second options:
Click Start then select Run
Type the word "net stop spooler" then "net start spooler"
Then unplug and replug the printer while its on.

Open a program that allows you to insert text into a
document or get on the internet.
2.
If you were to open a program, you would need to type text
into the document. If you were to get
on the internet, you could skip to step 7.3.
After you have typed text into the document, you need to
locate the menu bar, click on file, then point to print.4.
Click on print.5.
When the print dialog box appears, select the printer you
want to use (if it is not already selected) and select the number of copies to
print.6.
Click OK.
7.
If you were to print a page or pages from the internet, follow steps 3, 4, 5, and 6, except you don't have to type text into a document to print.
