Ok im just guessing, but if you look around the outside you may see tiny holes that are filled with filler and underneath those will be set screws, with a fine screw driver you can tighten them. if not then problem is internal.good luck...larry@reichinstruments.com

On my ziess conquest, what turning knobs do what? which one makes it go up and down and which one makes it go left and right?

The top knob should be marked with a "U" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust point of impact Up, and turning it counter-clockwise should move it Down.

The knob on the side should be marked with a "R" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust the point of impact Right, and counter-clockwise is Left.

My elevation and windage adjustments aren't moving my scope. I shot 4 times and my group is 1 inch. Problem is I adjusted my scope between all 4 shots. I'm consistently shooting 7 inches high and 3 inches...

This can only be due to a "broken" scope. To be sure, you can put your gun in a vice (cushion it) and put the crosshairs on a fixed point. Without moving the gun, crank the adjustment knobs a good 10-15 clicks in one direction each, and see if the crosshairs move from where you had them pointed.
If they do not, the scope must be replaced. If they do move, perhaps you should try adjusting the scope quite a bit more between shots.
The best way to sight it in requires a helper. Fire one shot with the crosshairs on the bullseye. Then, without reloading, put the crosshairs back on the bullseye, and have a friend adjust the knobs until the crosshairs move to the ACTUAL point of impact of that shot. It is essential NOT to move the gun while doing this.
This method allows me to sight any gun in with only 2 shots (and a few for confirmation, of course). Best of luck!

Dwc3-9x40 scope

its real simple at the top and on the side of the middle of the scope you will find 2 knobs. unscrew the knobs and you will find 2 flat head screws one for each knob. one will say up with an arrow the other willsay right with an arrow. go to the gun range. set the rifle up on a bench ,fire, adjust the screws up or down left or right until the bullet and the crosshair matches one click of the screw will equal out to 1/4 of an inch adjustment. if you change ammobrands you need to do this again.you will never be perfect but at 100 yards you should get 3 bullets in a 3 inch circle.

Need pictorial to reassemble crosman m1 air gun

zoom out to the minimum or mid of your scopes capabilities depending on the range you will be shooting from most frequently. then get ready to lay out some pellets. fire in groups of three. and walk tour adjustment knobs into your crosshairs. under your dial caps or mabey on the outsode you'll find L--> and up--> markings with arrows indicating how to turn it to make your adjustments tight. great hunting. but start on a windless day. lol not too common in WY

I suggest trying a different eyepiece first to see if that's the problem. Otherwise, if it was moved without adequate protection, there is a chance the mirror was shifted or damaged. A damaged mirror can't really be fixed since it's specs are very rigid. If it turns out to be a problem with the mirror the best thing to do is find an expert on telescope mirrors to try and fix the problem.

Sighting in red dot shotgun scope

Load your gun up and when you can shoot it, aim with your new glass(Scope) and lay out a group of three slugs, not buckshot, (i'm assuming your shooting a shotgun). Then use some trial and error to tighten your dot to your grouping. I don't blame you for the confusion, but normally, most scopes set up for this adjustment pattern are moving your target according to the knobs, not your crosshairs or dot. Another option you have is to buy a laser bore sighter. then you can play with adjusting your scope for in the field or wherever with much more comfort when you need to. You can find them online at walmart or almost any sporting goods store these days, yes they save ammo and yeas they save time, but i still shoot to make sure i'm dead on after using mine.
