Question about Miele 30 in. KM443 Electric Cooktop
When a plate is switched on max(9), after a couple of minutes the element switches off and on every 5 to 7 seconds, so you can't get much heat out of it. Struggle to get a pot of water to boil. Miele will fix the problem by replacing the control board. Easy fix except for the AU$1,100 they are charging. Do you think that is good for a 3 year old cooktop?
As far i know it is normal if u put at high control after a sec,the sencor control is turn off then a sec again it open coz of the sensor, design the sensor for not overheating the hob.it is normal try to position the control in in not a max position.or the pot u use is exactly in the circle or bigger dont put a small one in the bigger hole of ur elctric hob.tnx
