I thnk I'm saving something in bookmark. Never can find it. Favorites was so much easier. Help

Favorite. Sometimes abbreviated as fav, a favorite is a feature found in Microsoft Internet Explorer that allows a user to save the locations to their favorite Internet locations. Similar to Netscape's and Firefox bookmarks.
Finding My Favorites

Click the \"Start\" button.
In the \"Start Search\" text field, type \"Favorites.\"
Under Programs, you will find the Favorites folder. The Favorites Bar folder is located under Favorites and History. The Favorites folder will contain the contents of My Favorites. Click \"Favorites\" to open \"My Favorites.\"

dont know why that would have happened in an update? something else must have happened. MS updates do not cause those type of problems. what PC do you have, what was happening when this happened. you can reinstall google, the folders for favorites should still be on computer unless you were using Chrome and deleted it somehow. If so, then you may be lost...if using internet explore then
the favorites are still there. since you said 'bookmarks' you probably using Google Chrome. If deleted somehow, then you may be in trouble. You can reinstall from web BUT your bookmarks, may be gone. sign in to chrome after reinstalling and your email will still be there-you may have to find all your bookmarks again though. knowing what happend, what you were doing would make answering this easier.

You can export the bookmarks in Firefox to an HTML file:

Note that you can also right-click items in the bookmark menu and click "Delete" to remove them.

Favorites are Internet Explorer's Bookmarks. For Internet Explorer 8 and 9 just press on the Star on the top right corner. You can access, add, delete your Favorites from there.

1. Firefox
   • 1 Launch your Firefox browser.
     
   • 2 Right-click on a blank area of your browser's search bar. This should cause a menu to pop up.
     
   • 3 Review the menu's list. You will see an item in the list called "Bookmark Toolbar." If it has been accidentally disabled, it will not have a check mark beside it.
     
   • 4 Click the "Bookmark Toolbar" option. This will put a check mark beside it and place it back in your browser's top menu.

Hi, the reason you can't see the favourites from one PC on another is because they are in fact different computers.
If you are using browsers like Firefox or Chrome, you can set up a syncronisation so it does show your favourites on both PCs and also shares passwords and other things related to browser usage.

You can do this by using one of the following guides:

Just click on favorites on the top of the page of internet explorer(located alongside the section where you could see files, view, etc..) then click Add to Favorites. Then just click Add. You could also create folders for your favorites if you'd like and you could see on the favorites tab as well.

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup

You can choose to Backup or Export HTML. Save the backup/exported html file in your HD. Both can be restored later.
