Question about XO Vision XO-1400 Car DVD Player
I bought a XO vision 1736 and installed it in my car ( what a job ) I had written a few weeks ago about why the screen was not set correctly and I did get a response which was very helpful. BUT I am still having a really big problem with the screen and now the screen is shutting off and opening and closing for no reason. Also the buttoms ( on the touch screen still are not set right ) is there something I am doing or is there something i can do to help this problem PLEASE HELP....firstname.lastname@example.org

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

it shouldn't be to hard to install this but it does require cutting a hole in your interior part of roof........a install like this could take anywhere from 30 mins - 1hr for a installer to put it in. to do it yourself it could take 1-3hrs to complete (note for your first time doing this take your time and follow the install manual that will be provided)

It does not look like the manufacturer provides a download link to the manual. I would suggest either calling them or emailing their support and requesting a copy be sent to you. Their contact info can be found by clicking the below link.

I am just giving a suggestion. I too need to know how to wire this. From what you posted it sounds like you hooked the wire to a constant +12v that is always on. Forgive me if I am wrong. Anyway, Did you connect this wire to rear reverse light power. I think from what you say it is supposed to be connected to the positive side of that light. If this solves your problem can you PLEASE let me know the full details of everything else you hooked up on the circuit to make the backup work. For instance what is the label of the orange wire. TIA.
