I inherited this 45607 and it takes 10 minutes to stop vertical rolling.
Should I change all 3 regulators and caps or just IC2P01 ?
Can you please give me the part numbers of all 3 regulators?
One of your posts, you say resolder the convergence IC's and the Vertical Output IC. Can you please list the IC Number and location of the Vertical Output IC ?

Cause 1 1. VERTICAL ROLLING, VERTICAL BLANKING BAR LOCKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTURE, ALSO MAY HAVE HORIZONTAL PULLING OR TEARING. CHECK C2C52 10 UFD @ 50 V OFF THE BASE OF Q2C51 ON THE SIGNAL PCB.
2. CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 AND IC2P01 PART # 270P466020 (9-VOLT REGULATOR). BOTH ARE ON THE SIGNAL PCB.
Replace all these if they look bad or not. If you can't do it yourself call a service Company and get an estimate, it should cost about $450 if they know what they are doing.

There no adjustment. Try this: (MENU DOES NOT ROLL) CHECK C2A04, 10 UFD 50V OFF PIN 5 OF IC2A01 ON THE VIDEO PCB. 2. CHECK C2046, 47 UFD @ 50V OFF OF DL2001 ON THE VIDEO PCB. 3. (MENU DOES ROLL) CHECK C2B14 10 UFD @ 50 V NP OFF THE BASE OF Q2B02 ON THE VIDEO PCB. Good Luck, big IRISH.
THE VS-45607 Model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. MAY BE INTERMITTENT, SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK SOLDER CONNECTIONS AT CONNECTOR "DY" ON THE YOKES. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK C411 2200 UFD 35 V AND C412 10 UFD 50 V, BOTH LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB.

Replace C2P05 100 UFD 16 VOLT off pin 3 IC2P01 and IC2P01 part #270P466020 (9 volt regulator). Both are on the signal PCB. Also, check other caps in area for leakage.

Joe the cheapest way is to repair it yourself and this is what you need to do:
VERTICAL JITTER/HORZ UNSTABLE-CHECK 'GE' CONNECTOR PIN 5 FOR 1VPP Y SIGNAL INTO PIP PCB THEN CHECK 'GE' CONNECTOR PIN 11 FOR 1VPP Y SIGNAL FROM PIP PCB. IF SIGNAL AT PIN 5 IS GOOD AND PIN 11 IS CLIPPED OR REDUCED. CHECK ALL ELECTROLYTIC's (I.E.C7001, C7014, C7026, C7036) AND ALL CONNECTING TRACES TO THESE CAPS FOR CONTINUITY 2. HORIZONTAL TEARING, VERTICAL JITTER. SIGNAL RELATED CONDITION. APPLY FOLLOWING CIRCUIT CHANGES ON PCB-SIGNAL: A. REPLACE R2K8 WITH A 1K RESISTOR (BASE OF Q2B2). B. REPLACE R2K3 WITH A 47 OHM RESISTOR (IC201 PIN 50). C. ADD A 100PF CAPACITOR FROM BASE OF Q2B2 TO JUNCTION OF R2L0 AND R2K6 (GROUND).
As you can see this might be over you head but for a 1994 model you did get 14 years of watching TV enjoyment. 'Might think about replacement.
