I dont know how to download music to my mp3 player

excerpt from manual @ nextar.com

Q. How do I copy/transfer files to my MP3 player?

A. There are many ways to copy /transfer music to your player. Here¡¦s a common and simple way to do this process using Windows Explorer. Follow the instructions below: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. A split window will pop up and display the contents and drives on your computer. Look for the drive Removable Disk (E:) [The letter drive may vary depending on your computer] This is your MP3 player. -Next, drop down My Documents and click on the My Music folder. If you store your music files in a different location then find that folder. -Take a file from the My Music folder or where ever you store your music files, click on the music file drag and drop it into the E: Removable Disk on the left of the window. A window will pop up and display the progress of the copying. Repeat the process until your player is full. You have completed the file copy/transfer process!

Transfering music

Download LimeWire or FrostWire (i prefer frost.) and download all the songs you want. Its very simple to use, so dont need to go into detail for that. Than (assuming you have a windows computer) open up 'Windows Media Player' and on the top tabs click 'Sync'.
Dont minimize, but make the FrostWire window small, but where you have all your downloaded music click/drag-able. highlight all songs/media pieces and drag them to the sync playlist on the right side of Windows Media Player. Click Start Sync and wait a bit.
That should solve your problem mredmarin. Let me know if it did!
Have a good day :)

Lost CD that came with Sony MP3 Player

you dont need any special program here are some instructions for you hope this helps

**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

enjoy

I dont know how to put songs on my gfm mp3v player at all im totally lost what do i do with the little white disk?

A lot depends on what you're asking. If you are asking how to get music for the player, go to Napster or another music site and follow their instructions. Use a pay site; the 'free' ones can have some legal problems you don't want.

If you are asking how do you transfer the music to the player, plug it into your computer with the cable that came with it. One end will fit into special ports on the computer called USB ports which look like skinny rectangles about 1/8th of an inch wide by about 1/2 an inch long. The other end plugs into a port on the player. Assuming you use Windows, open the My Computer or just plain Computer icon. You should see drive letters (C:, D:, E:, etc). One of these drives is your mp3 player. Find the music files (Use Windows search for files ending in mp3 if you don't know where on the computer the files are stored). Use your mouse to grab the files and drag them to the mp3 player's drive letter. Let loose of the files over that drive and the computer will copy the files to the player.
