Question about GE 46GW 948 46" Rear Projection Television
When I push the power button I can hear a clicking sound. It clicks about 5 times then nothing. I have replaced the HOT transistor, 4 capacitors, & a diode on the power board. I still can't get any picture or sound.
I would suspect either the High voltage distribution block and/or the high voltage transformer as being at the root of your problem, especially with the HOT transistor being bad. If this set went out during a power surge/lightening storm however, all bets are off.
