Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 Digital Camera
I have a cyper-shot s500,I put re-chargeable batteries in but the shutter does not open.I am new to these digital camera,so do I need a memory card or memory stick to operate the camera.Once the batteries are in ,I press the power button and light flashes but goes out. What am I doing wrong?Thank you.
1st thing to do is to read the manual. There is a comprehensive manual on the software dis that came with the camera in addition the the quick start booklet. Fow the camera to operate it needs batteries, and memory card installed. then switch on and pop away. But get to grips with the book it tells you all you need to know.
