Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

Nero 9 (and 7 & 8 too) all seem to be giving me the same problem on mix cd's (continuous play but with trackmarks). The blend between 2 files is just not quite right, it sounds like a slight jump or skip. Am burning from WAV files, and its on a laptop. Never had a problem with nero 6 on my old pc, bot my laptop has vista so cannot put it on here. Any ideas?

My PC is very slow and keeps coming up with Errors, How do I clean my computer?

1. Buy an external disk-drive.
2. Copy all your music & files & E-mail & contacts to that device.
3. Find your original manufacturer-supplied "System Restore" set of CD-ROMs.
4. Find your original CD-ROMs for purchased software (Photoshop? Adobe? Microsoft Office? Nero? Anti-Virus?)
5. Find the original "product-keys" so that you can re-install that commercial software.
6. Re-install Windows, using those "System Restore" disks.
7. Re-install your purchased software.
8. Install anti-virus software.
9. Access: http://WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com
to get all the security-updates for Windows.
Repeat until you have no more updates to be applied.
10. Reload your data from the external device.

You will need some kind of burning software such as Nero or Roxio. If you want to try some freeware, follow the following link, http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/dvdcdburning.shtml. Much of the software is on a free trial basis, but you can continue looking for additional freeware.

I recently purchased Nero 8 from PC World they told me it was the latest version. I have since found out that Nero 9 is the latest version. If I buy Nero 9 does it still have Nero Express where I can add...

The Blue Ray plug in run also on Nero 8, only on nero 8 you have to buy it separatedly.

If you want to test Nero 9, and find out the (few, once you get plugins) differences you can do it following the instructions in this link :Download Nero here.

Just installed nero 7 software on my comp. and really messed up all my music files. all my saved files have lost there names & are know numbered tracks of nero media type. Same applys to media i...

hi sir,

by default, you have a music player installed on your system or maybe using windows media player before nero 7 was installed, unluckily, when you did installed your nero 7 it has it's own music player. by the time nero finishes the installation, nero prompts you what media types you are using, by default, nero had selected it's own files types...thats why your music compilation and playlist messed up.

in order to get things back, just right click any music files you have, go to properties, click change for types of file then select the application you want play with your music.

How do I burn a CD with my pictures, then show them on my computer? Can and how do I delete the pictures on the computer?

Your question was not quite clear "then show them on my computer"

1.) You can use a third program software like nero.
To use nero, you have to "purchase" it first, then install nero, then open "Nero burning ROM" application usually either under
"program files\Ahead\Nero\Nero Burning Rom\nero.exe"
or
Program Files\Nero\...\Nero Burning Rom\Nero.exe

Select the option CD-ROM Iso, then select multi session(if you want to add pictures later) or no multisession (if you dont want to add pictures later)::: For example, your CD takes abour 700MB of data, but you only have 10 pictures @ 30MB or so then you most likely to use multisession.::: Then click on the "new" button to start compiling your cd.

Then you can add your files into your compilation. You can give your CD a name by either double clicking on the little disk icon to your right in the first nero and changing the name OR by selecting "File" from the menu, then selecting the "Compilation properties" option, then click on the "Label" tab, and change your cd's name there.

All you have to do now, after you have given your cd a name and added files to the compilation is to find and click on the "burn" icon located in the nero bar below the "file, edit, new menus".

2.)If you have installed nero, you can also use Nero smart start 2 complile your CD. Benefis: Much quicker and easier to use.
