Question about Computers & Internet
Followed advice from portforwardguide for manual forwarding, but my router's interface menu differed slightly from the one in the guide and doesn't give a virtual server menu to enter ip addresses. I have set up a static ip and obtained server addresses and just (hopefully) need to enter the info into my router.
I am receiving torrents but my status icon hardly ever goes green and
normally stays red, sometimes straying into the red.
I would be grateful for any help you can give, thanks.
My modem is a SmartAX MT882.
First time registered network having a static ip which is stored in uniopc server then it will continue

Virtual server also known as port forward, try to look for this phrase, if not u may also find some word with NAT or Nat table.
Anyway routers must have this function in general.
By the way, how did you make your ip static, manual from your mac or the routers'?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
