How can I put pictures/movies onto my camera?

I know I can put pictures and movies onto my PC from my camera but how can I do the opposite? I have a 1GB memory card. What I have tried to do is open up my camera's folder and drag images into it but when I turn on the camera I can't see them. Yes, when I unplug my camera and plug it back in they are still there on the memory, just not visible to the camera.

There is a simple suggestion for your problem. The movie in which you would like to put on your camera has to many pixels, that when you put the movie on the camera, nothing shows up. The camrea is not "strong enough" to hold the video. There are special camera's that allow you to do this, but they are very ixpensive.

Like Coreg said, your camera does not have the ability to hold such strong image. The only way that you might have a chance is to put in a larger memory card, such as an 8 gig. The reason why you can do the opposite (putting videos onto the computer from your camera) is because the computer has the ability to inlarge the images. Which is why the videos are usually pixolated

Suddently my movies won't download onto my computer Kodak DX 6440

Close the Kodak EasyShare software from your system tray (down by the clock).
Go to www.apple.com and download apple quicktime.
After you have installed quicktime successfully, add the videos to the software.
Since the pictures were downloaded successfully, videos are also transferred.

They are usually saved in your My Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures.

Memory stick eject

well to record onto, switch the power button to "camera mode". this will let the camera know to record as well as take pictures onto the memory stik.

As for ejecting the memory stik, jus simply push it INWARD gently and it will spring OUTWARD toward you. to put it bac, do the opposite till the card locks into place

Putting my movies onto PC

It appears you are using a compact VHS camcorder. VHS is analog data, so you cannot directly transfer the movies to your pc as you can with mini DV or Hard Disk camcorders. You would have to "play" them into your computer with some kind of video capture device.
Here is an example of such a device:

but there are others.
Hope this helps.

Downloading a movie from my Ixus 500

Refer to the attached pictures for instructions on viewign the movide. In order to download the movie to the camera, you need to connect the camera to the computer using a USB connector. If you have already set the computer for downloading pictures, then it is just like copying pictures from the camera to the computer. Only the movie will have a .mpg extension. If you need more help let me know. I have a soft copy of the instruction manual that I can email to you.

Sv-av100 ---pc

You do not need software. Take SD card out of camera and place into card reader on pc. Drag movie files onto desktop or folder of your choice. At this point you simply need to change the file extension on your recorded movies to ".mpeg"
