Install lexmark x1270

You can install this printer by downloading the printer software.driver from this link and once done run it to install the unit, just click HERE and proceed with the download.

Here is a link to Lexmark X1270 drivers....just select which version of OS that you need.

Go to the link mentioned here.. http://driverscollection.com/?H=X1270&By=Lexmark . This has the drivers for your printer. Once you download them , go to the control panel and click Printers.
Here you will have an option that says Add Printer. Click that, and from there on, it should be pretty simple .

This driver can be found at Lexmarx site: http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Click on Find Drivers & Downloads. In the search by model window type in X1270. Across the top of the screen right under "Technical Support" written in red, click on "Download Driver". Choose your Operaing System, then click on Download Now.

The only way to setup the printer without the proper drivers would be to use windows add new printer. However windows does not have lexmark x1270 listed. You can dlownload the software from lexmark & install the software / drivers without using the cd.
