You don't have to go so far as to uninstall the printer just go to services (control panel > administrative tools > services) and turn off the print spooler service (right click and choose stop) then turn off the printer. Right click the printer (start menu > printers and faxes > the printer that is having trouble) and select cancel all documents. Restart the print spooler service and turn the printer back on. Your pending documents should be gone.

Re: cannot delete a document waiting to print
Try disconnecting the printer from the computer and then go to start, settings and printers. Delete the default printer, then try deleting the qued print jobs. Once you have done that, reconnect the printer and Windows should recognize it as the drivers are already installed. Now try printing.

Did you have document in queue? If you have delete all documents in queue and restart the computer. Then restart printer.Wait to document in queue deleting. If you haven't documents in queue reinstall the drivers.First delete old, reset computer and install new.
you can't print another document until there's a document on queue on the printer...you need to delete it first..
i experience it before I just delete the printer icon on the printer and faxes area and unplug the printer and plug it again ..wait a such time when a wizard appears on your screen just follow it..to find your printer driver..and to start a new session with the printer..
