Question about HP Photosmart 4180 All-in-One Printer
My printer keeps going off line and when i get it back on and have peding documents, now when i tried to delete them it says it will not allow it.
You don't have to go so far as to uninstall the printer just go to services (control panel > administrative tools > services) and turn off the print spooler service (right click and choose stop) then turn off the printer. Right click the printer (start menu > printers and faxes > the printer that is having trouble) and select cancel all documents. Restart the print spooler service and turn the printer back on. Your pending documents should be gone.

Try disconnecting the printer from the computer and then go to start, settings and printers. Delete the default printer, then try deleting the qued print jobs. Once you have done that, reconnect the printer and Windows should recognize it as the drivers are already installed. Now try printing.
Let me know how it works out for you.
