Turn off entertainment display on pioneer deh p7300

Buy a rca to aux 3mm plug then you can connect to aux port.
RCA out is for the signal to the amp from the Head Unit. Mic is probably for your cell phone.
Am pretty surprise that an HU like that doesn't have USB Ipod support?

Setting the clock
This function is available only for DEH-4000UB.
Use these instructions to set the clock.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
CLOCK SET.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the
setting mode.
# Press BACK to return to the previous display.
3 Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the segment
of the clock display you wish to set.
Each time you press MULTI-CONTROL, one
segment of the clock display is selected.
Hour—Minute
As you select segments of the clock display,
the selected segment blinks.
4 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to put a clock
right.
# You can also perform the same operations by
pushing MULTI-CONTROL up or down.
Turning the off clock
display on or off
This function is available only for DEH-4000UB.
If the off clock display is turned on, the clock
appears on the display when the sources are
off.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
OFF CLOCK.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the off
clock display on.

Turn unit off. Hold function button until options display, including tuning steps and display brightness.

Press and hold SRC until unit turns off. Press MULTI-CONTROL and hold until CLOCK SET appears in display, then release. Press MULTI-CONTROL to select Hour or Minute. Turn the MULTI-CONTROL knob to change segment that is flashing. Reference page 26 in this link to Pioneer for your DEH-P3100UB instruction manual.

This is a cable issue from the faceplate connetor to the main board on the unit. This is a common issue with these units the cable runs around 15 to 20 bucks

Get an ipod fm transmitter if you havent got any aux input

go into your tools menu by pressing the center of the multi knob.(the volume control knob) turn same knob to bring up the entertainment field, press center of knob to set then turn till you get to the prompt about alternating screen. switch to no. done.

turn off the unit and push the entertainment button or the display button it will beep once flashing stops lol i had the same problome im not sure what button it is thought doesent hurt to try them all its the second one on the bottom of the unit under the display but the unit has to be off

One of the replies from another 'helper' hit it on the money with a different model. You need to press & hold (in off position) the # 6 button for demo. Once the demo starts, a choice for inverted display will suggest to press #5 to turn off or on. At that time you will be able to correct your problem as I have. I had to do it twice because I was driving at the time, which I don't suggest , when I remembered the advice , lo and behold, it worked . Thank you other replier for that tip.

hey, either the face plate isn't getting good connection with the unit so you need to clean the connection gold plates or your just on a blank screen and you can fix that by pressing the knob in until the screen says Entertainment, then scroll thru the possible screens until you choose one you like.
