Question about Sharp R-1490 Microwave Oven
I was trying to heat some vegetables when I saw a flash of light from inside and the microwave quit working altogether. Even the control panel lost its display. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Obviously there was a serious short circuit in this unit which is not normally serviceable by anyone but a factory technician. Since this would not be cost effective, I suggest you replace the oven. New ovens are quite reasonable and have many great features.
