Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console

Pes 2009 (ps2) error loading

When I try to load the option file the blue bar thing gets 2/3rds of the way full then i get a message saying "error ocurrerd. loading failed. Retry or Cancel". If i press retry it happens again. If i press cancel and go through it is as if I have never ever started a PES 2009 option file before. If I go to where all my kits and points and various other edited things (a lot of them as well) should appear as I have done them, I get the originals. Obviously it is not recognising my option file, but if I cant fix this I have to go through nearly a months worth of internet history and 7 competitions including 3 long season leagues to get all back. I need a solid answer as if I have to start a new option file i will have to delete the other due to space issues. Please help ASAP.

Hi,

Hello educare have and welcome to FixYa. I see you are having issues with loading your game data in Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3. Sadly it appears that your game data has been corrupted and the data will have to be reinstalled but before we go with that method lets try this first.

1- Go to the Gran Turismo Main Menu and select Options on the lower right half of the screen.

2- Now you will have to scroll down to the bottom of the Options Menu until you see Advanced Options and select it.

3- Now you will see an option to Salvage Data. Select it.

4- Your PS3 will now attempt to recover your data. If the screen after a few moments says Data Recovered then you are good to go however if it says Data Recovery Failed we now have to take more drastic options.

5- Quit your game and return to the XMB menu.

6- Go to Game Data located in the Game Data section.

7- Find and select your Gran Turismo 5 file and press the SQUARE button.

8- You will see the option to delete the file. Select that option.

9- Now we have just deleted your Game Data file but not your Game Save Data file.

10- Return to your game and then retry loading your tracks. If all works out your tracks should load and all of your car collection data and profile will still be fully intact.

I hope you found this information useful and I wish you the very best of luck educare and thank you for using FixYa.

My dsi wont let me upgrade it.

You won't believe this answer but it works!
The same thing happened to me, I kept waiting and waiting and then it would say error. But, all you need to do is close the top of the dsi ( NOT THE POWER! ) and wait a few seconds. Then, when you open it up it almost always has one bar loaded! Keep doing this till loaded.

NOTE: You must open the top and then close it again, even if you wait an hour before opening it will have on bar more loaded!

Good luck!! :)

Was playing COD 5 and then after a game was over, went to switch to the next map and it just said Loading... Loading... With the COD logo saying loading. It never loaded, so I waited waited, then had to...

well, it must be a problem with your game files, because most loading processes are done by the Installed game files .
if other blu-ray games are running well, i guess you don't need to worry about the lens .

please try:
  • Reinstalling all your game data files
  • Reupdating your system firmware via USB Device (download the update from Playstation Website)
  • Restoring your system (don't forget to backup all your important files !!)
else, contact Sony support centre for possible hardware issues checking (i belive there isn't anything wrong with your ram or gpu units....)

The Hard Disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored

apart from physically reformating the hard drive yourself (taking it out and loading it on laptop or desktop and format, at your own risk), there isn't much else you can do. If the console is still guaranteed then contact sony and they will send you a new one.
If you do format it your self when you replace it in your ps3 you will need to format it again using thier options.

I had change of heart, the guys over at 360mods prevailed on me to release this for free.
So for all to see , here is how you fix the update failed error in all cases:

The error seems to happen when the 360 is unable to read from the update source during the update. The only time I have actually seen it occur was when updating from a backup, which is a common cause Ive read about. The other common cause is an onset of RROD during the update. Im not sure what causes the hard drive error. Either way, the solution is simply to supply the 360 with the correct update file either on a CD or a USB stick. Now here's the rub, it has to be the exact same update file as the one that failed. Not a problem since I've made a nice torrent file with all of the updates to date here:

Google

The version number is shown at the bottom of the error screen. PV is for previous version and CV for current version. Just put the file matching the current version (the one you are updating to) on a USB stick, (i.e. E:/$SystemUpdate) put it in your 360, and power up. If you have the right one it will finish updating and boot to the dashboard. Voila.

This has worked for me on 7 consoles so far. 3 of them said they couldn't detect the hard drive and the other four the update disc, so this seems to work in all cases. I hope this can help some people out.
